Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia is situated between 4 mountains, in the basin of the Tuul river. This city called as the White Fairy of Asia was founded in 1636.
Ulaanbaatar means Red Hero. Before the People's Revolution Ulaanbaatar was named Urguu.
   Present UB is a modern and beautiful city. It's the political, economic, cultural, commercial, and scientific center of Mongolia. There are more than 60 colleges, institutes and universities in UB.
